side button vest

For a long time I'd draw clothes on characters that I wanted to find and wear one day. Well guess what? I made one!

The front panel of this vest is from my previous year's Yoruichi Captain Cosplay and after adding the buttons and back panel I can use it for any of my 'costume' options for this year, woo!

I made up the pattern as I went (there was a lot of pinning, yeouch) and the buttons are the ones I cut from the jacket I altered into a vest for There are black loopies that secure around the buttons.

Anyways, tada If anyone wants a tutorial I could probably sketch it out and give you tips. If you want one made it may be a little iffy figuring out how to adjust it as I've done it before. *scratches head* Honestly time wise it doesn't take very long to put the main bit together. It was figuring out the pattern and sewing in the buttons that took longest.
